We are pleased to announce that Susan Van Scoy selected this year’s Member Artist Showcase winners. The four selected winners will be invited to exhibit in next year’s Winners Showcase. Susan Van Scoy, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Art History at St. Joseph’s College, Long Island, where she teaches courses on the history of photography, and American and Modern art. Dr. Van Scoy’s research interests include female photographers of the 1980s, the history of photography, and public art and architecture. She is the author of The Big Duck and Eastern Long Island’s Duck Farming Industry (Arcadia, 2019) and has contributed to Landscape Painting Now (D.A.P., 2019). Her other research projects include the photo-documentation of Fire Island and Kenji Nakahashi’s drawings, paintings, and photo-conceptual work.
