Carlos Vega
Born in Chile, abstract artist Carlos Vega currently resides in Miami, Florida. Carlos's interest in art began early. He studied art in studio of prominent Chilean painter Fernando Rojas Valencia. The versatility of his work can be attributed in large part to his refusal to consider only one style or medium of art. The extent of his work remains faithful to its own depth and defies classification or signature style that uses the power of the palette, and color, allowing images and manifest emerge. “My work is based on a time lived as a reminiscence of my life, exploration of the unconscious mind, dreams, fantasies, and myths.”
Carlos’ art has been exhibited in numerous juried and invitational exhibitions across the United States including most recently Gibbes Museum of Art, S.C., Art Center of Miami, FL, First Street Gallery, NYC, Limner Gallery, NYC and Mills Pond Gallery, NY.
